Cuyagua

Gabriel Domínguez, a rising producer & DJ of Venezuela’s electronic music scene, makes his Orianna debut with the tropical dance rhythms of “Cuyagua” ft. Jorje Domínguez. Inspired by the popular beach destination on Venezuela’s Caribbean coast, the track captures the heat of the producer’s distinctive heavy basslines, infectious claps, and Afro house drums.

Based in the commercial metropolis of Maracay, Gabriel dials into the natural sounds of the region's mountains and rivers, and the sultry escapism of Playa Cuyagua. His brother Jorge lends his vocal talents to the track, with a call to his fellow sun seekers, clubbers, and surfers, “Quiero que me envuelvas vamos a Cuyagua hoy.” Gabriel twists and distorts his brother’s voice with the kinetic energy of an ocean swell, as the high pitch strings of a mandolin vibrate brightly and sculpt sonic shapes out of beautiful chaos.

GABRIEL DOMÍNGUEZ Gabriel Domínguez is a Venezuelan producer, remixer, and DJ.
